Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company (or operator, hereinafter the “Company”) and the user regarding the use of timeline creation, sharing, quiz, and related services provided by “Lyrio” (hereinafter the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)
- Service: Refers to the application and related web services that allow users to organize and share historical events by country, person, and year.
- User: Refers to members and non-members who agree to these Terms and Conditions and use the Service.
- Timeline: Refers to a collection of content, such as the title, summary, characters, and related events of a historical incident, directly entered by the user through the Service.
- Sharing (Exploration): Refers to the act of posting a self-generated timeline on a public bulletin board within the Service so that others can view and duplicate it.
Chapter 2 Service Use Agreement and Management
Article 3 (Conclusion of Use Agreement)
- The Use Agreement is concluded when the user agrees to the contents of these Terms and Conditions, submits a membership application, and the Company accepts it.
- The Company may provide the registration process through SNS login linkage (Google, Apple, etc.).
Article 4 (Content and Change of Service)
- The services provided by the Company are as follows:
- Historical event timeline creation and management function.
- Timeline sharing and duplication (import) of other user content through the ‘Exploration’ feature.
- Data-based quiz function provided after watching Google advertisements.
- Other services that the Company may newly develop and provide.
- The Company may grant or restrict access rights to certain features (such as the community) differentially based on the user’s region, subscription tier, or invitation status, for the stable operation of the Service and the purpose of specific functions.
- The Company may change the content of the Service if technical specification changes are necessary, and in this case, it will be notified through an announcement within the app.
Chapter 3 Content Copyright and Usage Rules
Article 5 (Copyright of Posts)
- The copyright of the timeline content created by the user within the Service belongs to the respective user.
- If a user posts (shares) content on the ‘Exploration’ tab or elsewhere, it is considered as consent for other users within the Service to view or duplicate (import) the content into their own accounts.
- The Company is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify, display, and distribute the user’s posts for Service operation, promotion, and improvement.
Article 6 (Management of Illegal Posts)
- Users shall not post or share content corresponding to the following subparagraphs:
- Content that infringes on the copyright of others or defames them.
- Content that violates public order and morals, such as pornography or violent content.
- Content for the purpose of spreading unfounded false information or historical distortion.
- If the Company becomes aware of posts falling under Paragraph 1 through reporting features, the Company may delete or block the sharing of such posts without prior notice.
- Legal responsibility arising from illegal posts rests entirely with the user who created the post.
- To prevent disputes between users and maintain service quality, the Company may blind or block access to posts that have been flagged as problematic through accumulated reports, without prior notice.
- When duplicating (importing) and repurposing another person’s content, copyright etiquette, such as citing the original source, must be observed. The Company may restrict the sharing of repurposed content if it is deemed to infringe upon the rights of the original copyright holder.
Chapter 4 Advertising and Data Management
Article 7 (Advertising, Points, and Paid Services)
- The Company may place rewarded advertisements (Google Ads, etc.) for Service operation.
- The right to participate in quizzes is granted only when the user watches the advertisement in its entirety. The Company is not responsible for compensation not being paid due to an error in the advertising system, unless intentional.
- Paid services, such as ‘Ad Removal’, which may be introduced in the future, shall be governed by separate Paid Service Terms and Conditions.
- The Service operates a point system consisting of SP (Daily Shield) and HP (History Point). SP is a volatile budget that is granted daily based on the user’s tier and expires at midnight. HP is an accumulated point acquired through actions like watching advertisements and is retained permanently. SP is consumed first when using AI features. Points are neither refundable nor convertible into cash.
- Paid subscription services (Basic, Pro, etc.) provide differentiated features according to the subscription tier, such as ad removal and automatic backup. Matters related to payment and refund shall follow the policies of the open market operators, such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- If a user cancels a subscription, benefits already provided for the month (such as that month’s SP) will not be recovered, and the provision of benefits will cease after the time of cancellation.
Article 8 (Data Storage and Backup)
- The user’s quiz records and individual settings are, in principle, stored on the user’s device (local).
- Local data may be lost upon app deletion, device change, or device reset. The Company is not responsible for data loss resulting from the user’s failure to use the ‘Personal Backup’ feature.
- Shared timeline information is stored on the Service server, and members may request the deletion of data they have shared upon withdrawal.
Chapter 5 Miscellaneous
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not guarantee the objective accuracy or historical factuality of the timeline information entered by the user.
- The Company is not responsible for the temporary suspension of Service provision due to force majeure reasons, such as natural disasters, DDoS attacks, or server maintenance.
- Content such as recommendations, auto-fills, and draft registrations provided by the Company through AI technology (Smart Fill, AI Registration, etc.) may contain inaccuracies or historical errors due to technical limitations (such as ‘hallucination’). Users must independently verify the results arising from reliance on such content. The Company does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of AI-generated information.
Addendum
These Terms and Conditions shall become effective on X Month, X, 202X.nd responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company (or Operator, hereinafter “Company”) and the User regarding the use of timeline creation, sharing, quiz, and all related services provided by “Histudy” (hereinafter “Service”).

- User: Refers to members and non-members who agree to these Terms and use the Service.
- Timeline: Refers to the bundle of content, such as the title, summary, characters, and related events of historical incidents, directly entered by the User through the Service.
- Sharing (Explore): Refers to the act by which a User posts their created timeline on the public board within the Service, allowing others to view and duplicate it.
CHAPTER 2. Service Use Agreement and Management
Article 3 (Conclusion of Use Agreement)
- The Use Agreement is concluded when the User agrees to the contents of these Terms, applies for membership registration, and the Company accepts the application.
- The Company may provide the registration process through SNS login integration (Google, Apple, etc.).
Article 4 (Content and Changes to the Service)
- The services provided by the Company are as follows:
- Feature for creating and managing historical event timelines.
- Feature for sharing timelines and duplicating other users’ content through ‘Explore’.
- Data-based quiz feature provided after watching Google advertisements.
- Other services that the Company may newly develop and provide.
- The Company may change the contents of the Service if technical specifications of the Service need to be changed, and in such cases, the changes will be announced through an in-app notice.
CHAPTER 3. Content Copyright and Rules of Use

- When a User posts (shares) content on the ‘Explore’ tab or elsewhere, it is deemed that the User has consented to other Users viewing or duplicating (importing) the content into their own accounts within the Service.
- The Company is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify, display, and distribute the User’s posts for the purpose of Service operation, promotion, and improvement.
Article 6 (Management of Illegal Posts)
- Users must not post or share content that falls under any of the following subparagraphs:
- Content that infringes on the copyright of others or defames them.
- Content that violates public order and morals, such as obscenity or violent content.
- Content for the purpose of spreading groundless false information or historical distortion.
- If the Company becomes aware of posts corresponding to Paragraph 1 through functions such as reporting, the Company may delete or block the sharing of such posts without prior notice.
- Legal responsibility arising from illegal posts rests entirely with the User who created the post.
CHAPTER 4. Advertising and Data Management
Article 7 (Provision of Advertising and Quiz Service)
- The Company may place reward-based advertisements (such as Google Ads) for Service operation.
- The right to participate in a quiz is granted only when the User watches the advertisement until the end. The Company shall not be liable for compensation failure due to an advertisement system error unless there is willful misconduct.
- Paid services such as ‘Ad Removal’, which may be introduced in the future, shall be governed by separate Paid Service Terms and Conditions.
Article 8 (Data Storage and Backup)
- The User’s quiz records and individual settings are, in principle, stored on the User’s device (local).
- Local data may be lost upon app deletion, device change, or device initialization, and the Company is not responsible for data loss incurred by not using the ‘Personal Backup’ feature.
- Shared timeline information is stored on the Service server, and members may request the deletion of data they have shared upon withdrawal.
CHAPTER 5. Miscellaneous
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not guarantee the objective accuracy or historical factual basis of the timeline information entered by the User.
- The Company shall not be liable for the temporary interruption of Service provision due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, DDoS attacks, or server maintenance.
Addendum
These Terms and Conditions shall become effective from [Date: 2026. 6. 3.].
